Our Beyond the Hurt committee received the 2012 Louise Russo Youth Awards at the 4th Annual W.A.V.E. Empowering Youth Day in Toronto on May 16th, 2012! Congratulations to our committee!

 

 On May 10th, 2012 - The Friends for Zambia Committee honoured all who helped raise money for the building of the Twitti School.

 

 GSMS helped raise over $13,000 (and still counting)...

This is our third and final rotation of SPARK. Students will be invited to select their top 5 SPARKS, choosing from over 31 SPARK courses! We encourage students to read over the descriptions of the SPARKs carefully and discuss with their families SPARKs that are suitable both personally and financially. Selections will be made by students during the week of April 30th- May 3rd. Final student enrollment lists will be posted around the school the week of May 8th.

Blues & Jazz Extravaganza to benefit the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival Education Programs 

On April 23rd, the Best Buddies took part in a cooking class. They had fun baking brownies with chocolate icing. Everyone took part in baking the recipe. They were delicious!!
